This year, I have the privilege of competing in México Canta - "A binational call for musicians and performers from México and the United States who want to create new musical narratives—lyrics that celebrate love, heartbreak, and the greatness of México, far removed from violence and addiction."

Joshua Soto is a theatre performer based in New York who has been acting and performing on stage since he was a small child. As a native of the Bronx, Joshua began performing in children's plays that were staged at the Bronx House Community Center by the Riverdale Children's Theatre. His dedication and passion for musical theatre have taken him across many different stages, like Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, and most recently, the Lincoln Center Theater.

Joshua is currently pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance with a concentration in Musical Theatre at NYU Steinhardt.
